Trusted Company Providing Superior Carpet Cleaning in The Fox River Valley (from Oshkosh to Green Bay)
Keeping your home interiors in top condition is a high priority for you. To support your efforts, you need a carpet cleaning service that provides the best care possible for your flooring. The cleaning company you select should not only cleanse but help you maintain these surfaces, as well as rid them of allergens that can wreak havoc on your family’s health. Thankfully, that’s exactly what BowTie Carpet Cleaning does. Count on us to get rid of the dirt and allergic substances that are impacting your home.
We recommend that we visit your house and give your floors a complete inspection to provide the most accurate quote possible. Our technicians are trained to match the appropriate techniques to the health and needs of your flooring as well as your budget. Choose our Basic Clean package to cleanse the visible area of your carpeting, or pick our Healthy Clean option for complete treatment of all surfaces to eliminate allergens and health hazards. Finally, our Protected Clean service includes Healthy Clean plus an application of Scotchgard Protector for results that last longer. Every service we offer uses a hot water extraction method, which operates at lower temperatures and is far less damaging than traditional steam cleaning. We introduce cleansing and additional treatment agents during extraction, along with shampooing and brushing to power out embedded grime, dust mites and other particles. After a drying time of between 8 and 24 hours, your rooms are ready to use again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the questions we are most frequently asked. If you have additional questions about our carpet cleaning services or method, please call us at 920-469-0949.
What are the available carpet cleaning options?
BowTie offers three cleaning programs:
- Basic Clean: Thorough high-temperature cleaning of visible areas of carpeting
- Wall-to-wall deep cleaning with temperatures and cleaning agents designed to eliminate allergens and other potential health hazards.
- Protected Clean: Healthy Clean followed by an application of Scotchgard Protector.
Which cleaning program is right for us?
The best cleaning program depends on the condition of your carpets, the type of wear and tear your carpets experience, and your budget. These are all factors we can evaluate during a free onsite quote.
Will you provide a quote over the phone?
No. While we can provide an estimate based on square footage, we cannot offer an accurate quote without inspecting your carpets and discussing your options. We are always happy to provide such an inspection at no charge.
Do you offer carpet cleaning specials?
Yes. Our inspections and quotes are always free. In addition, there are many services that can be added to certain cleaning programs without extra charge. We also post special offers on our Facebook page.
Do you clean under furniture?
At BowTie we prefer to move furniture when possible or practical. Homeowners are responsible for handling small belongings, delicate items, and valuable items.
What is Hot Water Extraction?
We use the “hot water extraction” method for cleaning. (210°F- 230°F). Cleaning agents and hot water are introduced and simultaneously extracted during the cleaning process. The equipment is parked outside. Cleaning tools and hoses come inside.
What is the difference between Shampooing vs. “Hot Water Extraction”
In the shampooing process, the carpet is scrubbed with a rotating brush(s) creating a shampoo and dirt slurry. The slurry is then vacuumed. At BowTie, we simultaneously loosen and remove contaminants using a spray and extraction process.
What is the difference between Steam cleaning vs “Hot Water Extraction”
Hot water extraction is “steamy”. It is often confused with steam cleaning. Steam cleaning is rare and requires much hotter water which puts your carpet at risk of damage and can also set in stubborn stains.
Do my carpets need to be vacuumed before professional cleaning?
Yes, carpets should be vacuumed to maximize the effectiveness of our deep carpet cleaning process. We can, upon request, pre-vacuum for you.
How long will it take my carpet to dry?
Typical drying time is 8 - 24 hours depending on humidity and ventilation. When humidity is high, using fans can accelerate drying time.
How long will it take?
Our deep carpet cleaning process requires approximately 25-minutes per room when empty. As room contents increase, so does the time need to clean around them.
Is vinegar a good cleaning agent?
While vinegar can be considered a cleaning agent, it is more useful as a rinsing agent used after other (more effective) cleaning compounds. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant, the smell of which disappears upon drying.
Does BowTie's process eliminate dust mites?
Yes. Our specialized processes and temperatures remove dust mites and eliminate the allergenic effects they can have.
Does BowTie's process eliminate fleas?
Yes. Our unique combination of process temperature and cleaning agents will remove fleas.
